کتاب بر آفتاب‌نشینان اثر فرزاد سیاهپوش، با نگاهی انسان‌گرایانه و زبانی آمیخته از خاطره، خیال و حقیقت، مجموعه‌ای‌ست در ستایش زیستن بر حاشیه‌ی فراموشی، در جغرافیایی که آفتاب نه تنها بر چهره‌اش تابیده، که بر جان و روح ساکنانش نیز سایه افکنده است. این کتاب، سرشار از روایت‌های خرد اما ژرف، نگاهی‌ست به انسانِ لابه‌لای خاک و نور؛ انسانی که در پناه خاموشی، بلندترین صداها را می‌آفریند.
این اثر با مقدمه‌ای فاخر به قلم استاد دکتر میرجلال‌الدین کزازی، نویسنده و اسطوره‌پژوه نامدار، و نیز با تصحیح و پیشگفتاری وزینِ سرکار خانم شهلا مظفری، پژوهشگر و استاد زبان و ادبیات فارسی، به خواننده عرضه شده است؛ مقدمه‌هایی که خود دریچه‌ای دیگر بر لایه‌های ژرف و ناپیدای کتاب می‌گشایند. این کتاب در قطع رقعی و با شمارگان ۱۰۰۰ نسخه، توسط انتشارات زایله به زیور طبع آراسته شده و به دست چاپ سپرده شد که در روزهای آینده به بازار کتاب راه خواهد یافت. بر آفتاب‌نشینان فراخوانی‌ست به تأمل، به بازاندیشیِ زیستن در سایه‌های بلند زمان، و یادآوریِ نقش کسانی که در خاموشی خود، روشنایی گسترده‌اند.
